Our Story

Built on a belief that good food starts with patience and ends with community.

RFD Social was born from a simple conviction: that the best bread, the freshest ingredients, and the warmest welcome don't need to come from somewhere far away. They can come from right here — on a busy stretch of Ponce de Leon Avenue, where neighbors already know each other by name.

Our kitchen operates on a slower clock. Dough ferments overnight. Seasonal menus shift with what the local growers bring us. Every loaf, every pastry, every jar on the shelf is made with the kind of attention that can't be rushed.

But the heart of RFD Social isn't just in what we make — it's in who we make it for. This is a place to linger. To grab a coffee and read the paper. To pick up groceries for a weeknight dinner. To sit down with friends and stay a while.

Artisan Bakery

Sourdough, focaccia, pastries — all baked in-house on a daily schedule. Our breads use naturally leavened starters and locally milled flour. What comes out of the oven at 5 a.m. is what you'll find on the shelf by 7.
